Sheila Kahyaoglu is a Managing Director in Equity Research at Jefferies, covering the Aerospace and Defense and Airlines sectors. She joined in March 2012. Ms Kahyaoglu has been ranked #1 or #2 in Institutional Investor's All-America Research poll from 2020-2022 after being Runner-up in 2019. She was ranked Rising Star in the 2015 and 2014 polls. Before joining Jefferies, Ms Kahyaoglu was a research analyst at Credit Suisse, covering the Electrical Equipment and Multi Industry (EE/MI) space. From 2005 to 2008, she was a Leveraged Finance analyst at JPMorgan.

Ms Kahyaoglu holds a BA in Economics from New York University.

Her Aerospace and Defense research is broad and extensive with a focus across the Commercial Aerospace, Defense, IT Service providers, Business Jet OEMs in addition to the Airlines. Sheila’s research uses a data intensive approach along with color from industry experts.
